Hey all

So I'm organising another run. Sorry for the short notice.

Primarily M2's / M cars:
We have 5-7 M2s (2 to confirm)
M140i (TBC)
Porsche GTS (TBC)
SL55
335D.

So 7-9 cars.

I'm limiting it to 12 cars in total - otherwise hard to keep pack together.

Relatively short-ish route.

Part 2 - Buttertubs Pass
9am ish - 11.30 ish
2.20/75 miles

Part 1
Essentially me heading up from Manchester to Ribble Valley (most likely taking the direct route up) - happy for people to join and convoy up (7:15ish).

If you'd like to join please - jump on Roadstr app and put your name down:
Event is called: M Run - The Dales 2024
https://referal.roadstr.io/c0RL/08pa4vlb

More details also on M3 Cutters forum.

Not tempted to veer off in Reeth up to Tanhill then down to Thwaite ?
Great place for a brewstop at Tanhill Inn ( highest pub in England ) + Reeth to Thwaite direct isn't a particularly memorable stretch.

so there's another dude of M3 cutters forum - will lead from Ribble viaduct, the route I put up was roughly what I'm thinking he'll do - but yeh looks like your suggestion is all doable - I've not done that area before.

Yep , a route i've done countless times , a great drive out :driving:
Last bit of advice  do Skipton to Ribblehead not Ribblehead to Skipton : reason being 9am - 11.30am means you would start picking up traffic from Kettlewell / Buckden to Skipton ( 10-30/11am) & roads are narrow  there are not many places to pass especially for a convoy to stick together , opposite way leaving Skipton 9am should get a decent run . Once you leave Reeth i doubt you will see many cars until you get towards Hawes . The Hawes to Ribblehead is plenty wide enough for passing .
Additional bonus of the anti clockwise route is heading down from Buttertubs you really appreciate the valley views

Hi Shuey.
Agree with Mr Wilks comments, ran this a few times last on 29th dec 23, and better to go anticlockwise ,
Dependent on others on the run i would suggest meeting at lidl colne and finishing at settle ,nice car park n chippy straight facing ..If you wanted to miss buttertubs ont way back you could hang a right nr keld up to nateby ,then to Hawes, just a suggestion mate .
May just attend myself ,will let you know by sat.
Cherrs Moz (e88 125i vert )

Cant post route so general screenshot.

Cool thanks guys, appreciate the tips (all new this area to me!)

Yeh I’m going to mention to it to the dude who’s leading that part - and I a couple of guys dropping out at leyburn. So might have to do clockwise this time.

But yeh let’s see they on board

I only discovered them last year, but am so glad I did!

Enjoyed your video too - hopefully I'll be back there later this year.
