Z4 coupe sport £5650

Post by pvr » Sun Feb 18, 2024 2:18 pm

Just for interest, the wbac valuation is £3200. As they are not realistic I think you would probably look more at 4500 if you wanted to sell it.

The z is staying…I’m happy about that as it’s going to get used every other week on a 30 mile a day commute by my partner

Good decision. It’s worth more to you than you’ll get for it and you’ll be pleased you kept it.

Absolutely, this came about after putting it on eBay last night in a spur of the moment move as I’m working in Spain later this week so god knows why I advertised the z, however a lot of interest came in very quickly and a long call today virtually wrapped up a sale at the asking price possibly £5,500 I would have gone to…I then shared this with Deb and it was shot down instantly as she wants to keep it and will do the commute I didn’t know she was that fussed but I’m glad she is as I get to keep it and it gets good use.

In cars yes as she has a lovely TTS and this will keep the miles down but more importantly the z stays

It’s a lovely car never ever do I not stare at it on my way past …it will need maintenance and replacement parts obviously but I cannot think of a better car at that money? Interesting question what is better at £5,500? What looks anywhere near as good although looks are subjective I agree…. I’m happy despite spending £20 on an advert for a few hours

When we first met our first date was to a gig in York and I met her in ilkley, I remember she walked round the corner at the little railway station at Ben rhyding by ilkley and I was in my first coupe it was SE spec but lovely car and I could tell she liked it, anyway on the way to York it developed the waterpump fault which was a good ice breaker to be honest we just got to York and got AA went to the gig etc it was all good got car fixed a few days later new waterpump….after a few weeks of seeing eachother she was like ‘can I borrow your car to go home in’ left me with a Nissan juke :|

She loves the z4 coupe, we were sat in Germany in the van near Munich before lockdown and we heard this almighty roar it was a white z4 m coupe screaming past it was very impressive very…..I envy you and anyone with the M

The only advice I can offer is don't drive an M unless you are willing to want one!

I first looked at an MC in June 2019, another in September that was just up the road from me on behalf of a forum member in Staffordshire where the selling dealer fired it up and said he'd see me in a while. I bought mine in December. :D
