E89 Alloys Non Run Flats

Post by Z4 Fan » Sun Dec 31, 2023 3:14 am

Hi, can I get some advise please on what I can do to make the ride better and avoid cracked alloys. I like the 293 alloys, is it possible to fit non run flats to that model which won’t rub on the arches or when turned? Also what size non run flats tyres are we talking about if it’s possible?

Yes it is, and a good starting point would be to replace like for like in terms of size.

293 is 18’’ so plenty of choice on replacements

Ah thank you. Is there a max size that we shouldn’t go over (sidewall profile height I’m thinking)

As True-Blue said. Stick with sizes or the rolling radius will be altered and through your Speedo out. Just like for like none run flat. Night and day difference.
