Scammers

Back on topic if that is ok? I have received a PM saying someone has a code reader after posting a code reader wanted ad. They shared an email address. This is a screen shot - is this a legit forum member or a scammer? Thanks…

If anyone PMs you with an offer it is a scam. If they were honest they would post on the thread.

The wording is so much the same each time as well funny enough, they must have the same English teachers in Pakistan, India, Nigeria and Russia

The user hjuu475w has made several other posts on the forum. If a scammer, needs to be removed.

He PMed me (about my wanted post) but must’ve been blocked in the mean time as I can’t see any messages in my inbox,

Another scammer I would imagine, replying to a wanted advert directly to my PM.
They joined the forum today:

"The only guy I know that might have E85/E86 Upper Spring plates or know where one is tr7v8mike.. I haven't seen him on here for some couple of days. He also didn't return my last couple of phone calls. Here's his email [email protected]"

I had the same message from the same person

If they are jumping in on someone else's for sale message. I would say this is 100% always a scammer. Nearly got caught earlier in the year when I was after a removable tow bar for a Discovery 3.
