pictures in signatures

Hi all

where to people store their pics that they use in their signatures?

is there a forum location where you can add your photos for use in signatures?

Is it just public photo storage areas in google etc

Mine is stored on a host sight and The URL address of the image is pasted in the box on my signature page in my profile.

Similar to the above. If you copy this post you can see the URL and adapt it to fit your needs.

cheers all. I know i can link it from an image hosting site i.e. PhotoBox etc. just wondered if the site had its own pic hosting

I block them all anyway...as they tend up taking up too much space on the page.

I just saved the image on my hard drive and copied it into my signature.

It only took me 9 years to get around to it.

Yours is an avatar picture. The signature pictures being talked about are the ones like Mr G has above.

Indeed it has.

Just attach a picture in one of your elder posts. Take one where you still are allowed to edit and nobody will care about anymore. Save this post and copy the link (graphic address) of this newly added picture by right clicking on it.

This copied link can be added to your signature by putting it into an [.img]-sequence

and a constant picture will be shown.

An example:

Funnily enough, you can add this image to any of your older posts, even in other forums worldwide! The link is important, not the location.

Hey there! Some forums allow direct image uploads to use in signatures. If not, public photo storage areas like Google Photos or Imgur are common choices. Just make sure to check the forum's image hosting policies and shareable links for signatures. Happy posting.
