This car was initially registered in March 2004 and has had 5 owners including myself. Being a pre-facelift this car has the glorious M54B30 which is hands down the finest engine I have ever owned. The car is in fantastic condition however it is now within touching distance of 20 years old and as such there are some imperfections which are as follows:
- The infotainment navigation screen doesn't raise anymore, a common issue I believe. The screen itself still works, however it does not raise now when the car is started. I can still hear the motor working, it appears as though whatever physically twisted the screen up and down might have come loose.
- The 6 CD changer does not eject, again from what I have heard a common issue however it has never bothered me as I don't use CD's.
- After recent replacement of a binding caliper, tracking would benefit from being done.
- On both keys, the lock button and boot button both work with no issue however the unlock button will not always unlock the car. When double clicked the roof will go down, however when single clicked it won't always unlock. I have been unlocking the car manually for a couple of months now.
- There is of course the odd stone chip on the bodywork, not many however to be expected on a 20 year old car. The paintwork has been waxed several times throughout my ownership. There is a very slight scratch on the drivers side rear quarter, photograph below and there is a small dint around the size of a 5 pence piece on the drivers side front quarter however this is literally too small to be photographed with the car being silver.
Whilst I have owned the car, I have kept all receipts for work conducted and I have spared no expense when it comes to keeping the car well maintained. This truly has been my pride and joy and I hope that comes across in the pictures.

There is a gap in the paperwork between 62,258 and 74,555. I don't doubt the owner during this time serviced the vehicle, however I did go 12,500 miles between oil change too (obviously checking the level and condition throughout) and the oil was golden when drained. My driving has almost always been M1 commute. All of the above service history is in a paper format with the car.
