Reluctantly for Sale is my BMW Z4 2.2 SE 6 Cylinder 2004 in titanium silver with extremely rare factory fitted full BMW Aerodynamic kit and optional boot spoiler.
The vehicle has a very low mileage of only 50,600 miles and comes with a full service history.
I have owned the vehicle for 7 years and have covered approximately 5,000 miles.
It is in excellent overall condition. The interior of the vehicle is virtually unmarked and shows limited signs of wear. The exterior of the vehicle has some stone chips to the front valance but no dents or scratches to the vehicle paint work. The paint work has been machine polished and is topped up regularly with Fusso Soft 99 sealant keeping the paint work gleaming. There is however some minor surface rust to the drivers front and rear wing arch lip. I have been informed that this is suitable for a smart repair, but this does not detract from the overall excellent condition of the vehicle. The engine bay like the interior of the vehicle shows little signs of wear and the engine is oil leak free.
The cabriolet roof operates as it should and is in excellent condition.
Three of the four alloy wheels are in excellent unmarked condition and the fourth alloy has a kerbing mark.
The vehicle has a fully stamped service history and I have receipts for all the work carried out in my ownership.
Some of the work carried out in my ownership in addition to the usual service items are;
(1) Replace all rear brake pipes in copper along with flexible caliper hoses.
(2) Replace the two front brake calipers.
(3) Replace front and rear brake pads with Textar Epads ( low dust) ,making life easier when washing and maintaining the alloys wheels.
(4) Replace the gearbox oil with Redline D4 synthetic transmission fluid and Redline MTL synthetic transmission fluid 50/50 as recommended by Opie oils, making for a smoother gear change.
(5) Replace the rear differential oil with Redline synthetic gear oil 75W-90 GL5.
The replacement of the gearbox oil and differential oil was a precautionary measure as I do not personally agree with BMW that these oils do not deteriorate and will last the lifetime of the unit/vehicle.
(6) Refurbish the alloy wheels and replace the alloy wheel centre caps with genuine BMW caps along with the front and rear boot and bonnet badges.
(7) Replace the rear boot brake light from red to clear.
(8) Replace the rear wing whippy aerial with a stubby aerial.( I still have the whippy if you prefer).
(9) Replace both front coil springs and top rubber strut mounts as the rubber was showing some signs of deterioration.
(10) Replace the passenger side window regulator.
(11) Replace the rear tyres with Bridgestone run flats following advice on the last 2 mots (minimal miles between mots) as the tyres whilst completely legal had wear to the inside treads (caused by toe in, apparently common on BMW cars).Four wheel tracking carried out and adjustments made.
The vehicles MOT is valid until 09/01/25.
The private registration plate is included in the sale and has an independent value of appropriately £300.
The vehicle is located in Cheshire and my asking price is £5500. If you are interested in the vehicle and have any questions or would like to view please get in touch. If you live a long way away and a fellow forum member wants to view on your behalf before you travel I am more than happy to facilitate this.
Many thanks for viewing.
Ian

It looks like new, even the bit where the bonnet lock goes is new looking, all the ones I’ve seen including mine look awful there.

Hi,
I just want to say thanks for your positive comments about my Z4, on the Z4 Forum, I really appreciate it. I sold my Z4 to another Forum member, who I know will enjoy it as much as I did, and take the same great care of it as I did. Thanks for all your advice along the way.
Cheers, Ian
