Trading in the Kona Ron, will have had it 4 years this December. Will be sorry to see it go as it been a good everyday car. A new model has just been released but its a fair bit larger than mine and would be a tight fit in the garage.
Tim.
Will just part ex it at the time Ron, obviously the sooner the better
The £’s are sealed and agreed tho?
Price of the new car is when ordered but any part ex value will be whatever it is at the time its traded in.ronk wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 3:15 pmThe £’s are sealed and agreed tho?
Afraid they don't do anything for me plus it's an old carPondrew wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 10:13 pm June 2024, Tim? By then your part ex will be worth about £10!
Cancel the order and buy a 'proper' hot hatch:

I was banking on it being a 12 months wait anyways Ron, just be nice if it does arrive sooner.ronk wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 11:11 pm They could have you over a barrel by the eventual delivery time!
They could (and probably will) offeryou peanuts for your trade in and your only option would be to reject that offer - they won’t be bothered as they will have new stock to sell immediately at the April 2024 price - happy dealership!
Or is that me just being a cynical old git?
That is maybe because you haven't driven one! The best fun you can have with your clothes on in 2023!
I’m sure the car is fun and very well screwed together - but I couldn’t live with that bootlid spoiler - I didn’t buy a Subaru many years ago for the very same reason.
