RBM - BMW & Mini specialist in Hook

Just back from visiting Ross with a problem on my Z4 E85 (roof wouldn't move). I knew it wasn't the motor because Ross had moved it to the boot a couple of years ago and it's been working perfectly since then. He quickly diagnosed a broken wire and repaired it there and then. He's 120 miles from me (and I had to endure the M25 there and back) but we'll worth the visit. The workshop is pristine and Ross, and all his team, we're faultless. He even durected me to a nearby coffee shop so I could wait in comfort.
Brilliant bloke, brilliant service and brilliant prices. What more could you ask? I'll definitely be trusting Ross with my car in the future.

Can also recommend Ross highly.

Had a few problems sorted out including a failed power steering motor and roof motor location for preventative maintenance.

Ross was quick to quote for the various items of work requested and communicated well throughout.

He knows his way around our Z's which was evident by the number of other Z4's in his car park.

I will definitely be using his services again even though he is about 2hrs away.

I'm pretty sure there is another thread running about Ross and his RBM venture, so apologies for any duplication but people may only find this one.

He has done a few niggly jobs on my MC this year as well as an Inspection 2 and replacing the crank rod bearing shells last month. Plus fitting new rear shocks to my 3 Series.

I've been really pleased with the work, the updates and the costs so would recommend RBM to anyone - and have done a few times. I'm also lucky that he's only 10 miles down the road from me.

By way of an update he has 2 more ex-Sytner techs working with him and has had a 2nd lift installed that can cope with lower cars - which is handy for some of us!

Figured it would be helpful for someone, sometime in the new decade! :)

Bit of a thread revival ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
Thanks for this, not far from me and in need of some work to the F30 tractor ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Another big thumbs up for Ross at RBM.

Great comms, great service, well priced. He clearly takes pride in what he does and has the knowledge and experience to back it up, and thatโ€™s the kind of person you want working on your car!

Another happy customer from Ross and the crew's services at RBM. Even despite the terrible weather it was very much worth the round trip from central London. Good prices, professional work, and very friendly experience from e-mail comms through to on the day chat about the car.

Just picked up my Z4 Coupe from RBM after a checkup and some preventative maintenance) -cam-cover gasket, plus they replaced a few other gaskets & the engine oilcap too.

Great service from these guys. Have been going here for years. :roundel:

It must have been your car I saw yesterday then - I mentioned it here! https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=128235&start=765

My 3 Series was in to get the central locking fixed. The only door that locked was the driver's one, but as it wouldn't unlock that was a real PITA. Turns out the passenger side rear door lock had a short circuit which kept blowing the fuse. Thanks to RBM it's all working properly now. :)

Definitely can vouch for RBM. Have been there a couple times now and not only is the service excellent but I really value their politeness. Ross and the team come across as such genuine people and that goes a long way imo.
