Steering wheel roundel part #?

Post by Christopher72 » Fri Jun 09, 2023 1:37 am

So... BMW 36-13-1-181-082 is the correct size of the steering wheel roundel, but not same finish. It's a bit more metallic, and not the glossy depth

Does anyone know the correct part number for the right finish?

Aerodynamic drag of increased badges exceeds any power increase…. :tumbleweed:
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

Steering wheel roundel part #?

I was thinking I could line the trunk interior with 300 M's, but from B21's shared experience, I'd probably have to update the suspension and engine mounts to handle the excess 300bhp. I'm not prepared for that.... :scratchhead:

I did find an Etsy vendor with steering roundels that may be promising.. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1334123391 If it isn't, the cost isn't horrible and I'll just stick it to my Toyota Highlander to raise it's appeal.

Looks like the same coca-nailed fiend thought it was a button and its now a bit concave. the edges of the emblem also have that cracking look. So... a cheap replace that looks OEM or I'll stick with the suboptimal.

She was sold in San Fran, and lived in San Jose, and Mountainview according to Carfax.

Now you just need matching wheel caps!

The style matches well with your carbonated trim! I do like that steering wheel.
