Steering rack replacement, how to?
After much time and trouble getting one, I FINALLY got my hands on a second hand steering rack as a replacement for my apparently worn / damaged one (don't ask, long story). I managed to find a great deal for an LHD rack with around 55k miles on it, which after shipping from the States is now finally in my possession!
Tadaa! So now that I have the thing I thought I'd see how hard it is to replace the rack myself before surrendering and heading off to an indie shop to get this done. Looking around on the forum and beyond however doesn't turn up any actual replacement how to's on the subject.
Anyone have any experience doing this and willing to share some pointers / time estimates / other insights?
