Welcome aboard.
Sounds like you have a decent Z4 there, but of course, without photos we won't believe you. :poke: :D

Will you be attempting the roof motor yourself or looking for one of us dotted around the country who've done a few?
HQ of 'Norfolk Zed Rescue'.
Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

Thanks all, I haven't actually collected it yet, I'm getting it on Thursday, as soon as I have photos I will share. Its had far too much work done to pass it by. New shocks, springs, subframe fully rebuilt, new bushes all round, new arms, rod ends, I think the only thing not done is change the wheel nuts! rocker, filter housing gaskets, all plastics (thermostat housing, expansion tank etc) a lot of Genuine parts and a 6 inch high pile of receipts!!

I would look at doing the roof myself, but depending on cost and locality I would get someone to do it.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Jon

Hi and welcome to the best forum
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

You may have to wait quite a while....

Welcome to the forum anyway!
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.
