I overlaid the best off for stock..MHD V10 stage 2+ and the TTE500s on the same graphs do it’s easier to assimilate the differences…
The stock figure at 347 is better than the book figure of 335 for a 50k mile car with walnut decoke and fresh plugs n filter..so a good basis
The MHD V10 reflects the tuners work on a 12 year old conservative tune by BMW
Our tune with TTE500s shows the results of the best off in terms of products and a steady set of tuning developments over several runs.
The graphs reflect how it feels..
Smooth and slightly better off the line..powerful low range shove, turbine feel through the mid range and a rocket like unceasing charge to the red line..
So apart from cost no downsides…smoother, more powerful, better high end performance….good result

We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

Nice. I live in fear of shredding my tyres too quickly with an unmapped engine!

The Sports Conti 7s are probably the top dog tyre..the more power the better they show their advantage

If the 460 BHP Mustang likes them I’m sure I’ll rub along fine…
No sign of any stress on them for me..but of course even fast road work is not like a track day..but I don’t do track days…

At this point B21, why not tracking it? Cooling might be struggling so some sort of open pitlane or time-attack format might be better (or maybe reducing boost for long sessions) but it seems you have the rest of the car ready for it?

The MP5S is not being released for non oem applications at the moment…so the SC7 is top dog for the E89 on 19” wheels..
We’ll see if they release after market versions in due course and how they do…
I find the MP4S lacking feel on the front end which with a long pointy nose is not what you need…
To track the car I think it would need bigger front brakes and more cooling for the gearbox and coolant I suspect..
Never been a fan of track days so I’ll pass…although I think it would do pretty well in the hands of someone more capable…

Finally something we agree on.....quickest way to kill a car IMO.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Congrats Peter, looks like you now need fat tires which may call for a GT3 body conversion

It's great that you have hit 500bhp. The question now is does it put the power down on the straights?
Any times?
0-60mph
0-100mph
1/4 mile
Etc...

I’ll get my GPS logger out soon
Finding somewhere for top speed might be challenging

So, for now our final dyno day’s results..after various issues with a persistent cylinder 6 misfire caused by what we believe is erroneous factors and the boost leak caused by the Indy not fitting the inter connector silicon hose between the two turbo outer pipes..here we are..
With our Mr.5 inlet mod and the final tune V13+ aka ‘spicy’ which is 21.5 psi boost tapering to 20.5 psi here we go…546 BHP and 738Nm
Just about spot on compared to TTE the turbo people’s demonstrated N54 test..we did it on less boost ..so pretty good
Approx 50% of the increase over the max of 502 on v6 with no air filter is due to the Mr.5 inlet mod and the rest with many iterations of tuning covering boost, ignition timing and VANOS settings..this number is with a stock Mahle filter in the main box and a Pipercross Lotus inspired foam cone c/f filter…enjoy!
