I shyed away from installing the gaptech mod after I read about multiple accounts of it going bad and causing other issues.
I also stopped using the Carly-encoded keyfob mod due to the power drain on the keyfob.
No big deal expending the 10 seconds or so it takes to keep your finger on the button or key in the lock to drop/raise the roof.

That looks like a nice set of features, I found it a real nuisance to stop completely, press the (GapTech controlled) button before I could set off again. With normal operation, it willl not allow you to close the roof even when almost at a stop.

Agree. That is why I thought the extra money for the XCarStyle would be worth it and to me it definitely is! I use the feature quite often

But it is worth it when you drive in the rain in slow traffic and cannot close the roof
