Hey all
My 2005 2.5i wheels get greasy/oily/gritty pretty quickly. Is this a symptom of some kind of problem with the exhaust, etc, or do all of us have this problem by default?
FYI: I just had major work done on my engine including replacing all fuel injectors, spark plugs, oil pan and valve cover gaskets, and fixing and oil leak on the vanos unit plus replacing hoses. The car is running VERY well, but I notice after cleaning the car, the wheels start getting oil or gunk on them pretty quickly If I let it go for several weeks, the wheels are nearly covered in some kind of greasy something. I've not had this issue on other cars like my Acura...
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

All 4 are getting greasy. The fronts might be getting a little more greasy than the backs. I do know the front brakes needs new pads/rotors. The back brakes are still pretty good in terms of wear, but I don't know if there are quality parts on either set to be honest.
Could it be the brakes?
