E85 6 cylinder 2.5Si, 3.0 or 3.0Si

Post by True-Blue » Sun May 28, 2023 3:01 pm

Edited as parameters have changed as the Mrs has bought a 2 series convertible which will be fine for weekends away.

Looking for and E85, preferably an 3.0Si, in Monaco Blue, Midnight Blue or Carbon black - (or Toledo Blue for an older 3.0)

Must have’s;

Heated seats - preferably Msport
HPI clear
Decent service history - very few of these cars have a complete history these days. Self-servicing is fine as long as there is evidence with receipts etc.

Don’t mind’s;

Manual or auto
Standard or modified - within reason (no ironing board spoilers)

Feel free to PM or reply here

Based in Bristol, but happy to travel (within reason) for the right car.

Thank you :thumbsup:

E85/E89 Auto

Post by Scott94 » Thu Jun 01, 2023 10:55 pm

I am selling my Z4 3.0I E85 Auto. It’s silver. Bought from a fellow forum member 4 years ago and has done about 97k.

It has been serviced twice per year during my time having it.

It has had new discs and pads, new suspension arm and recently had brake pipe replaced. Plus some more maintenance works.

Currently located in Scotland, usual few scratches on body and alloys with car this old. Great working order and had its MOT and service week before Christmas Comes with quite a thorough service history.

Can send you some pics if interested!

Thanks,

Scott

Good luck with your search mate. I hope you find another good one which suits your needs! :thumbsup:

Whatever you find I'm sure it will be shining like a new pin soon! :)
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.

Cheers, although it was a bit harder to watch this one drive away.

I’m also looking at 235i’s and various 4 series convertibles. Probably won’t go as far as an M4 as it’s still going to be a second car. Needs to be fun, nippy, convertible & auto

I know the feeling, hard to watch mine drive away as it was immaculate - just need an auto and 4 seats for the grandkids.

4 series is a great car, the M4 is an amazing machine in vert form, others will say the coupe is better as its stiffer / lighter / faster etc. never notice in normal driving.

try a 440i - almost as quick and looks pretty good as well or maybe a 35iS is the way to go

….I thought this might happen Alan, and I did think about Z4M’s and Alpina’s… the nigh on £700 annual road tax bill takes the shine of M’s a bit, how do Alpina’s fare on that front?
