Been a while since Ive been on the forum, good to be back!
Im looking for a pair of UK xenon headlights with clear indicators. I have xenons already fitted to my Z4 but after almost 7 years of ownership decided I cant live with the ginger indicators up front anymore! Anyone got a pair for sale please let me know here on this thread.

I maybe wrong but I don't think you swap pre and post facelift xenons like you can halogens. You have to swap more parts than just the lights for it to work.

If I am wrong then this seller on ebay has a left and right xenon for sale.

Or your other option is to buy broken headlights like these 2 and split them open and change the hockey sticks

E85 Xenon headlights with clear lens indicators
thanks for the info, very useful ... and eye-watering: the ebay seller wants £1000 for a pair of xenon headlights with clear hockey-sticks ... thats way outside my budget. Also makes me wonder what my xenons with orange indicators are now worth??Usel wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2023 12:02 pm If I am wrong then this seller on ebay has a left and right xenon for sale.

You're not.
The wiring is different between pre and post facelift. I think you can get your current LCM flashed - in which case you can use facelift xenons. FYI facelift xenons aren't cheap so you're looking around the £300-400 mark (per unit). Those black ones linked are much higher because black xenons are much more rare. Simple supply and demand.
Your most effective option is to undertake a "cut and shut" IamOrion did a good guide a few years ago link here.

From what I've seen on ebay pre facelift Xenons are around £300 per unit.
Maybe, assuming yours are black like the picture, you could get a bit more...
But you're stuck in a loop, since xenon and halogen aren't interchangeable. Of course, assuming you sell your lights after purchasing new ones, you could offset the "project cost".
I've just picked up a second set of xenons, Zed is a keeper, so these will go on the car and my originals will become strategic spares

Some great advice, thanks Kis. My Zed4 does have the black xenon headlights but with ~136k on the clock and only the 2.5 engine it may be a better idea if I went down the cut and shut route.kis wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2023 12:50 pmFrom what I've seen on ebay pre facelift Xenons are around £300 per unit.
