True or False: the headlights (high AND low beam) are the outer projectors only (H7 bulb). The inner "projectors" are just the halo? (DLR or whatever).

From RealOEM your 3.0Si roadster has xenon headlamps as the outer projectors. And as you stated, the inner "projectors" are dummies with only the halo running lamps. I have the same setup on my 2006 3.0Si coupe.
If you are new to owning a BMW, you may not have yet bookmarked RealOEM, and you will find it here:
