Great for someone that nicks your watch :poke:

It is safe as Apple Watch locks if removed from a wrist.
Actually safer than a key!

My Apple watch works perfectly with my 2022 3.0. My iphone, however will only unlock and start the car. It will not lock it! Any ideas?

It is cool but these wireless technologies make it so much easier to steal the car.

Certainly it easier just taking your key without your knowledge, than a phone or watch. At least the phone and watch require biometric passwords. And it’s a car. If it gets stolen, I just get another one.

And I stand corrected. The watch doesn’t allow starting the car, only lock & unlock, as well as window & horn functions.

But thanks for the completely useless input!

I have a cellular apple watch, so I rarely carry my phone anymore, so it's quite a useful feature. I can get into the car without lugging the keys around and also check whether it's locked

The FOE part of the forum is another fantastic feature, who's this Chris_D fella?
