I bet 99% of people couldn't care less whether they have advisories or not, as long as it passes.
Yet some of us (including myself) look on a clean MOT as a satisfying achievement! I get a warm fuzzy feeling when I check my cars' histories and see no advisories during my ownership!
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Maybe I'm a bit anal too as I much prefer to see no advisories!
My car last had a couple in 2012 for undertrays and engine covers being fitted obscuring some components. FFS why do they do this?

AND those advisories come and go. Makes it look like the undertrays could have fallen off.
Seen a few recently with 'objects fitted obscuring the driver's view, but doesn't impair safety'. In that case why mention it?
