To be fair they are about £150 cheaper for the discs and pads over ATE
The pads that the Kinetix come with are on a par with the ATE.
Just not sure what the discs are like. They are made in Germany

Fair enough.
I just wondered if any one had fitted them.
I have found various car forums that have used them and all have said that they have been just as good if not better than OEM.

I’m always sceptical when I can’t find any info on a product other than by 3rd parties on social media or eBay.
I can’t even find a website for them, or who their parent group is. Can’t even verify that they’re ‘made’ in Germany as the only mention of Germany I can find says “Engineered in Germany”…which means as little as Apple iPhones being “engineered in California”.
BTW, ATE discs & pads from CarParts4Less (with their current 25% discount code) comes out at about £425.

I've just found out to my cost in time is that even if you go oe manufacturer, in my case Jurid rear handbrake shoes, it is no guarantee of quality.
They didn't fit correctly, so I have just ordered BMW for the guarantee of quality.
That said I've recently replaced the starter motor, and went with a Valeo, which is what the BMW one was that I took off, and seems fine, and much cheaper!

In terms of performance of brakes...finger in the air but its probably 80% based on the pads and 20% on the discs. If you have a set budget, focus on the pads and just get OE discs.

True for older single piece discs.
But bmw z4m uses floating 2-piece discs, which are lighter and less prone to warping. Afaik all non-oem replacements are single piece design - besides oem ATE and high-performance aftermarket discs (girodiscs, pfc, ap racing...).

No 'like' button on here, so that will have to do!
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.
