Lower Front Grille

Post by Kisscorky » Tue May 16, 2023 3:52 pm

I am new to the BMW Z4 World and have a few questions. I have a 2014 BMW Z4 35i. I have replaced the front grille to black ones. The lower grilles (Left, right, and center). look faded compared to the new upper grilles.

1. How hard is it to remove the old lower grilles (Left, right, and center)?
2. Where can I find new black lower grilles (Left, right, and center)?
3. How easy are the new ones to put on?

Thank you in advance!

You need to take the whole bumper off

You buy new parts from B<W suppliers only AFAIK no third party parts

Reverse process

Using some gummi pledge type spray may be an easier option.. or the Simoniz equivalent..
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is

The kidney grilles were on eBay. A body shop painted the front ‘spoilers’ with the roll bars and mirrors. The headlamps were done at OSS in North Carolina.
