On a serious note, I drive in London a lot through necessity and the two wheeled traffic is a nightmare.

Cyclists completely ignore traffic lights, seen many ‘near misses’

Mopeds are kamikaze….

I’m amazed there aren’t more deaths on London roads but it’s F’k all to do with a driver doing 25 in a 20 :headbang:

I assume the Pantomime Police couldn’t find a job to do other than to stand around with two silly old f4rts

These two are too old to drive so want to stop everybody else from doing so.

You would think they would be doing all they can to enjoy what is left of there lives rather than inflicting misery on other people

That picture sums up "community speed enforcement" perfectly.

Mopeds should be banned. That would cut down the crimes by 3500 per year alone. Is anyone using them actually for what they were designed for or just to commit crimes?

I note that the labour MP for York has spoke in parliament about a 10mph speed limit!
10mph, maybe we can all get the C5 out - the one by Sir Clive, at 20mph cyclist are passing you never mind 10 - crazy world, makes a 20 minute commute 60 minutes and increases pollution although eco carriers will say driving slower reduces emissions forgetting efficiency drops

Slightly off topic but when I was a despatch rider in the early 90s the stories we heard about London was that there was a courier killed every week.

How the hell are you going to get your 'just eat' order delivered without them? Post?
Domino's would be out of business in a week without the humble 'sloped'.

That’s very sad if true, but genuinely wouldn’t be surprised.

Everything on two wheels ‘lane splits’ the whole time, electric bikes are becoming more of a problem. Some bikers actively riding the wrong way to weave across roads, junctions etc :headbang:

Been the same since the '80s. It was motorcycle couriers, push bike couriers and the 'YUPPY' health freaks back then.
Now I presume the couriers (thanks to email and technology) have been replaced with 'food delivery' couriers.
Always remember the eastern europeans (or similar) washing your windscreen at every set of lights in the West End, or Central London. Then asking for money. Flower sellers, Evening Standard sellers and cold drink sellers in the Summer on the Westway in the (constant) traffic queues at Gypsy Corner in the evenings.
Happy days! NOT!

This is very straightforward. Any member of the public can report anti-social behaviour, criminal activity or motoring offences to the police. No action can be taken by the police unless they have evidence of any offence(s) and civilians manning speed guns cannot give them reason to prosecute. However the police can monitor and observe those reported of any of the above so yes they could put a 'marker' out so if you went through an ANPR or a police car behind it could flag up reports of speeding and the police would more likely follow you rather than not. So there is an increased risk of 'accidentally' being pulled over and if you do get pulled then there is less chance of you being let off.

Firstly you must be very unlucky indeed to come across an actual police car never mind one with an occupant that chooses to actually be bothered to do some work.
