Warranty renewal

Post by Johnbmwz4 » Mon May 15, 2023 3:52 pm

Today I got my BMW extended warranty renewal through the post. Last year I paid £613 with £100 excess. I also had 1 claim for a sensor of some sort that brought the engine warning light on. This year’s renewal is £440 with the same level of cover. I was actually expecting a rise as the car is 1 year older with more miles. I’m certainly going to renew again as we all know how unreliable these 3.5s are……….
BMW E89 3.5i M Sport manual, loving it….
Audi S5 Cab, Great car but not special enough….
BMW E89 3.5i DCT, Havana Brown, should never have sold it…..
BMW E85 3.0 Auto, sadly missed (twice)

That seems amazing value..is that with BMW Direct?

Several warranty suppliers now have marked up the 35i badly and/or won’t cover it….
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is

I’m surprised at like for like cover dropping. To me at that price an absolute no brainer, sign up before they realise their mistake

Yes that’s with BMW direct, their extended warranty. I rang them to make sure the cover is the same as last year and they said it was. I paid in full straight away.

Considering it includes pan Euro Breakdown cover, its not a bad price.

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

I’m very happy with the price. I would have happily paid the same as last year so a bonus for me……
