After removing the plastic bonnet lever in the drivers side footwell (the one to open the bonnet), I cannot for the life of me get it to screw in again.
I removed the plastic cover over the speaker to do some work which involved removing that plastic lever but i cannot get the screw to thread back in.
Any trick to this?

Make sure the trim is centred otherwise i think the handle won't go all the way on.

Is the plastic trim correctly seated ?
If not that throws it off…it’s a bit of a fiddle..the trick is to seat it properly without the screw and ensure it activates the release..then put the screw in..helps if you have 3 small hands…
