Guys
Does anyone know how to temporarily disable the alarm when locking the car?
It’s going on a ferry soon and I don’t want the motion of the ferry to keep triggering the alarm
Cheers

How to disable the alarm
Surely any modern car can manage a simply ferry crossing. That's one that must have been in the requirements doc. Even a German committee could think of that.

How to disable the alarm
Traditionallly (E46/E85 etc) it's a second press of the lock button to disable volumetric and tilt alarms.

How to disable the alarm
Yes it’s a double click (usual BMW process) that disables the tilt sensor.
