Hi, I'm a new member just signed up. I have just bought a E86 coupe, of 2007 vintage. It is being delivered on Friday 17/03/23. I can't wait. I have measured the garage three times, so hopefully it will go in, and I can get out. It is going to be my weekend car, it is replacing a Porsche 924s, which is still to be sold.
The Z4 is a Stratus grey auto, with red leather and piano black trim. I have already put Zedfest 2023 on the calender, so I hope to meet up with some of you then.

Hi and welcome.
As you can't post pictures of your Zed yet, some of the 924 would be good!

All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Welcome to the forum Paul from a serial Coupe owner.
Yours sounds like it has a great colour combination so I hope you post some photos once it has arrived. But if not I'll be at Zedfest!

Welcome to the forum, haven’t seen photos yet but already jealous of the interior colour scheme
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

Hi,
Wow, best welcome I have received on any forum, thanks.
I have attached a pic of the 924s at the NEC Classic. Not a very good photo I am afraid though.
It will be my fourth BMW, so not new to the brand. In the past I have owned a 1983 E21 318, a 1999 E36 318is, and a E46 318 ci coupe.
Can't wait for tomorrow.
Paul W.
P.S I hope photo is attached!

Welcome to the club Paul. We had both 924s and 944s in the past, brilliant cars but the lack of power steering in the 924 was a nuisance! A Boxster could have been an option for you but the Z4 is a good choice.

Thanks everyone,
I do like the Stratus grey paintwork. In some lights it's grey, in others it's got a bronze tint. Lovely in the sun. I always thought BMs had to have red leather interior .
