Here you go. Sorry, hard to get a good shot of the plug, but clean and no corrosion.
No spurious alarms in the time I had the car.

Thanks, that looks okay. I believe that the tops wear on them? I'll PM you.

Hi, they are in the first post @ £15 the pair but that was assuming postage to the UK.
Happy to check out what they may be to you.
They weigh nothing so if you have anything else coming over to you I could send them to that seller to put in the same package if it helps?

Bit of a clear out - E85 parts

Post by Bob123 » Sun Apr 02, 2023 6:30 pm

Hi enuff_zed, I've been looking at what I think are the 'Hard top electrical connectors' in your photo. Are they the two wires at the bottom of this file, outlined in blue?

If so, I'm wondering how they attach to the hardtop?
I've taken a photo of each end of the connector on one side of my hardtop, attached below.

Do you have any diagrams or RealOem links that help explain how they attach? I'm wondering if I'm somehow missing some connectors.

Thanks

Bob123, you're not missing anything. These are the parts that sit on the top of the front mounting points, under the rubber covers. So when you fit your hard top it makes a connection with the brass ring to enable HRW etc to work.
With your hard top off you'll see the connectors in each corner just behind the door.

Yes that is the part. One each side with wires that go down to a plug behind the trim. Worth making sure they are clean and shiny before fitting the hard top

Thanks, I'll have to have a dig around, I can't see the wires themselves but thought that they must be buried down there from your description.
