Service kit

Post by mattimus » Sun Mar 26, 2023 8:26 am

Hi, I’ve had a bit of a search and couldn’t find what I was looking for.

Is there such a thing as a pre-packaged decent quality service kit for the E86?

Looking to replace engine oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter (assuming this is a simple self-service item?).

This would be the first time I’ve done this so don’t have part numbers, oil spec etc yet and thought a kit would be a nifty shortcut.

Any kits, suppliers, websites etc recommendations appreciated, ta.

I would second Opie Oils  Not sure if they do a full service kit as such, but I ordered all the parts you mentioned (excluding oil filter, but with coolant instead) and came to £160. I just went with mahle filters and shell helix ultra 5w30, after doing some research on various forums…

They usually have discount codes, if you do some googling!

oilman is Opie Oils, but he's not been on here for a long while.
I'd suggest contacting Opie Oils and discussing it with him. He will be able to recommend the right stuff.

Cheers, put a £100 order into Opie Oils, got the 15% intro discount and have already had an email saying 20% off everything with the code PAYDAY

Filters can be had dirt cheap on Amazon. I got a MANN oil filter for about £5 delivered once.
