Handbrake lever sitch

Post by stevedruidstone » Tue Mar 21, 2023 6:22 pm

Hi
It looks like the switch which lights the handbrake light is gone. I can see the part (no. 5) on the schematic but not for the 2.0. There is a different part number to mine - 69164263. This is coming up unknown. Will a different engine size model fit. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Handbrake lever sitch

Assuming the actual handbrake lever checks out the same then I can't imagine the switch will differ. It's the sort of part I expect is fitted to every other BMW of the era too.
