Thanks John, but it’s all good.

Stage 4 secondary, but on a medical trial which combines Chemo & immunotherapy. So every three weeks jaunt from Bristol to Barbican and back. 2yrs into this routine and currently clear… been clear for 18 months, literally a miracle :thumbsup:

Lifetime commitment, but thousands can’t have this combo yet as still in trial stage.. blessed.

Puts that sh*t spoiler into perspective.

Immunotherapy has been used for many years in NL (is mainstream there) and is very effective. Very good news that your wife got that and it is working well :thumbsup:

Immunotherapy has been routine treatment for many cancers in the UK for years too. It very much depends on the specifics of the tumour / treatment, but often they have an affinity for a specific binding site found only on the tumour cell then deliver a chemotherapeutic agent to that cell line. The chemotherapy isn't new, just the focused method of delivery.
True-Blue, good to hear your wife is responding well to the trial meds.
