I have a 2012, e89, 28i
My dash board lights all flash off and on constantly and the guages all surge. The car seems to run ok though.
Checked the battery. It is a non AGM (standard lead acid) battery that appears good. The alternator is generating 14.6-14.9 volts.
Has anyone experienced this? I have a video but cannot post it showing the issue. Imagine this photo with all lights and guages flickering/ flashing like a Christmas tree.
Thanks for any help.

Not that I think it’s causing the issue but you should have an AGM battery fitted..
Looks like a failure related to the DSC system..sufficiently serious to cause all the lights on..
It needs to be read with a decent diagnostic system..
Do not pass go..go direct to a decent Indy or a BMW dealer..

We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

All these lights stayed on with the tyre pressure monitor inactive with ABS failure my car suffered recently..
I still have faulty tyre pressure monitor. Can live without it.
Need a code reader to scan.
