Casual 44 mile run / 12th Feb / Saddleworth Moor

Post by shuey » Thu Feb 02, 2023 11:09 pm

Hey all, I’m doing a casual run in saddleworth moors on the 12th feb. 9am meet, a couple of stops, should be back well before 12.

Nothing major… 44 mile route starting and ending in Shaw. I’m organising it on RoadStr app if anyone interested and wants to check out the route.

All performance cars welcome… the more mixed the better.
Numbers wise it’s just me (m2) and a couple of other cars for now (rs3 / mx5). We may have a couple of 911s too. I’m going to put a limit of 16 cars total… but I think around 10 would be ideal for everyone.

The whole idea is to do these runs once a month, very casual, quick blast (2-3 hours max in total)… and different routes.

Feel free to put your name down on here if you don’t want to download another app.

I'm tempted but it's a bit too far north for me to travel for a short run. If you do something in the Peaks but further south then I'd be up for it. Currently I'd be bringing my MX-5. It's not going to keep up with an M2, but it's significantly modified so it's not slow. Later in the year I might have something else.

When I read 44 mile run, I naturally assumed you meant on foot.
