yeah the road markings are bit poor around there, but surely he cant use that against me?
as for hitting him in back, yeah side rear of car (basically his corner bumper was grills on z4) as hes about 1-1.5 max car lengths from where the white lines used to be
The audi was going onto the m1, so was going straight on at the roundabout, so not turning left there

I might invest in a dash cam.
Hard to imagine from the photo’s, but sounds like he didn’t give way at the give way line, entered from the side road and then stopped straight into your path.
If that’s true, and he’s hasn’t given you any reaction time, surely his failure to ‘give way’ is at minimum 50% the cause of the accident?

Unfortunately I’d also say that the insurance will go 50/50 on this, accidents on roundabout’s aren’t straightforward for apportioning fault

insurance will always try and get away with it being the other persons fault especially when you hit them from behind (hopefully they're also not trying to claim whiplash too). without any witnesses or dashcam footage i think best case is 50:50 unfortunately. Your quote does look massive..im surprised its not a write off at that price. Fingers crossed for you to get it sorted.

Well got a letter off his insurance today so called mine but there no record of it been logged as his fault yet and theyve not accepted any liability, I called the number on letter from his insurance (its company handling car fixing and hire car) and theyve said its not on there system yet. but looks like there accepting it
Letter states...
Repair of my vehicle will be done with no cost to me
Hire car will be provided they will provide direct, no cost to me
Surely that means theyve accepted fault fromt here driver ?

Is t that standard for fully comp insurance though? The repair is at no cost to you, but the blame and premium is another matter

Id get that if mine sent it through, but mines not accepted any liability
Its his insurance saying go get the work done and theyll cover it at no cost to me. one part says "no excess to pay"
surely it wouldnt say that if there going to say its my fault or 5050 :/
Ive never had a accident in 23 years of driving, or put a claim in so im totally at a loss to what gets sent

I doubt they are telling you to "go get the work" done, I'd expect they would want to arrange their own repairer.

the letter states along these lines
They will provide names of garages i can use and they will pay
or
I can provide my own as long as its a insurance approved place, and there hourly rate isnt above xx, and they will pay
The hire car they`ll bring to me and take mine away
On each thing is states "at no cost to you" in bold
