Do you still have the Zed, Rob? How are you finding it?

I still have it, it's my daily and am enjoying it thanks. I'm sorting a few bits as I go - It's just had new tyres a water pump and the rear arches sorted - but now I think my DISA is playing up... hopefully i'll get it to a reliable stage for a while, if there is such a thing.

Glad to hear it. The DISA should be renamed the PITA by all accounts. You can get an upgraded aftermarket aluminium one which is essentially DISA for life with none of the plastic wear-wobble worries.

Thank you, I'm pretty sure i've seen those mentioned a few times in the forum, the previous owner did buy an upgrade kit for it - may have been a plastic one (£30 from ebay) - I really need to take a look, but i think its the diaphragm that's gone, as there seems to be a bit of a vacuum leak.. PITA is right, it's more the cost of an OEM unit thats the problem. x8r upgrade is probably worth it either way.
