(Chinese) Digital Cluster for E89

I would wager good money that the ID4 item is made in China as well, if its not then most of its components almost certainly are. Did you know that BMW have done a deal with 'Great Wall Motor' in China to produce all their small SUV's, zero emission mini and all electric mini!!!!

Talking to Milo about the E89 specific version, they are developing it to have a UK English option.
They are also designing it so you don't need to cut anything to fit the cluster panel.

As far as I can tell we are talking about the same manufacturers - although through different resellers - I asked the sales guy if “the engineers” are working on an E89 specific screen and he said yes. He confirmed that the software and GUI would be identical too.

Any updates yet?

I've not heard from Milo regarding the E89 specific one they are producing yet, but then it is Chinese New Year at the moment.

Not to hijack your thread,but I found a guy that does custom gauge clusters on Ebay I may try (after reading this post!) Not as intricate as the poster's here but may be simpler to install..

Seems like a lot of money for what he's offering. I replaced the gauge faces in my car some time ago using Venoxy gauge faces, much better results and way cheaper, see this thread:

I left the needles white but could easily colour them red to personalise the faces further.

A couple of things to appreciate about these (based on these images only and not the content of the sellers advert)
They are E9x clusters, and to the best of my knowledge, they are not compatible in the E89.
"Plug n play" only if you use your original cluster, if its an exchange basis then it'll need coding. If it's a full replacement cluster then it'll need additional coding.
If that's just face's that are changed and maybe new LED's on your original cluster then that's very expensive.
