Prefer the look of the stubby aerial so it’s gonna get switched out… i don’t even listen to the radio :)
I don't listen to the radio either... not since I got a 35is with terrible radio signal anyway! Probably due to the stubby...

Love the car though and will likely own it until it dies or I'm forced to sell (probably by the mrs). Seriously underrated car regardless of any mods - most people have never come across one and are shocked by the performance. Is it a Boxster or Elise? No but I don't think it's trying to be.

As for the "M" debate, here's a photo of the engine swap I did this week with a 1M
I assumed you put the 6 speed manual box in from the 1M at the same time ? :tumbleweed:

I left the gearbox as is, the sticke... I mean engine swap was enough work for me.

In terms of performance gains, I reckon an extra 2bhp, but the additional weight of the sticker probably negates that.

I'm interested for sure - did you get it done at a dealership, or do you have one of those fancy fully equipped workshops to do it yourself?

Looks like a big job.

In other news - I pick up the 35is this morning :)

Did you swap the 35is air filter box for the 1M version…on other N54s the airbox is more restricted than on the 35is…that may explain the extra 2-3 BHP.. :tumbleweed:

Maybe a lasered logo would save weight?
