Z4 Coupe - Montego Blue - Manual - Budget up to £12k
Hi All,
Recently started a search for a Z4M but due to a recent house build I've had to scale back my search and consider a Z4C instead.
It seems everyone is on the lookout for a coupe at the moment so probably not the best timing but should you be considering selling then please give me a shout via PM!
Ideally looking for the below:
Manual
Colours - Montego Blue
Cream/Pearl Interior
Low mileage but open to higher mileage well cared for cars
Full service history
M Sport heated seats
Very good condition (in and out)
*Isofix would be a bonus
Nice to have's:
CSL alloys
Quad exhaust
Cruise Control
Please let me know if any of you considering selling or know of anyone selling one that matches the above.
Cash is waiting and able to move relatively quickly.
Happy to travel.
Thanks
P

You're "nice to haves" make sense as they are pretty easy to retro-fit to what would otherwise fit the bill - good luck finding the right one.
Coupes because stunning!

My car will be going up for sale early March if you've not found anything by then.
I'm having a fair bit of work done to it towards the end of February as I have the parts sitting in my garage so may as well get them fitted for the new owner.
It hits some of your requirements, but not all.
Black, Manual, Black interior, FSH bar 2 or 3 years around 2011/2012 I believe, but it's slightly higher mileage at 140k.
I also have a Z4M bumper for it that could be included in the sale if you did want to go down the quad exhaust route again (I actually removed it )

Thanks for the offer of your car, I may well be in touch if I’m still looking by then.
On first thoughts, the mileage is a little high as I would be using my new car daily, so would be something to consider.
What sort of cost point would you be looking at?

Of course I'm biased, but I'd argue a higher mileage car is better as a daily because you won't worry so much about the depreciation hit from a lower mileage model
I'm going to list it for £7200.
List of work to be done at the end of February is the following:
All 4 wheel bearings (SKF)
All 4 rear control arm bushings (these have been replaced with the OEM balljoint as opposed to one balljoint and one rubber bush)
New Brembo discs all around
New eccentric shaft sensor
New eccentric shaft sensor gasket
New Febi Bilstein CCV kit
Rocker cover gasket
Rocker cover bolts (they're single use on the silver top)
New Valvetronic gasket
New outer tie rods R&L
New handbrake shoes
New rear bump stops
New Powerflex rear diff bush
Oil & Filter change
Also have a bit of a thread on it: viewtopic.php?t=136671

Thanks for the info, deffo improved from when you started.
After considering more colours, I’ve got my mind set on Montego blue! Post adjusted to reflect this.

Why are you selling the car so soon mate? I tried to buy that car a few months back but couldn’t quite work out a deal so would possibly be interested again. Has it had any bodywork since you body it (excluding the change of rear bumper)LemonConnoisseur wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 2:59 pm Of course I'm biased, but I'd argue a higher mileage car is better as a daily because you won't worry so much about the depreciation hit from a lower mileage model
