I have this going spare as when I bought my Z4, the handbrake rachet on mine was worn. I thought the cable just needed tightening but when I was in the garage for new discs and pads they pointed it out and suggested it would be an MOT failure. They also pointed out the unit was on back order for over a year, possibly discontinued. Not wanting to fail my MOT I went searching and bought two used units in case one was a dud.
This one works fine, holding firmly on each tooth (No pulling to the moon here) and there was no concievable difference between this one and the one that went into the Z4.
I paid £195 for one and £220 for the other. Cant remember which was which.
