Has anyone in the UK found which socket is deep enough to get over the exhaust solenoid so I don't have to remove my vanos to get it off?
Unlike the intake I can't fit a 32mm spanner. Our U.S. brethren have a choice of this bargain: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben-pa ... ch01a~sch/ or a 1-11/32" shower valve socket, neither of which seem to be options here.

So this is where I write about the car? 2003 E85 2.5i, sterling grey, red leather, 106s with Goodyear Eagle F1s, factory xenons, folding mirrors, cup holders, retrofit cruise control, Bilstein B4's all round. And a whippy!

I did see that one last night to be fair, was just thinking it might be a bit long to get a 1/2" too on, but I'll give it a whirl.
