Not my car, but i just happened to visit the local dealership, and they had this M40i in the showroom, all very festive...

I was loaned a book on driving the lakes authored by Stirling Moss. So I followed his suggestions and it was terrific! :thumbsup:

Brilliant photos. I definitely recognise the pass. You also made me wonder why I haven't been to the Lakes for 20 years. Actually, I know the reason... children. I used to spend 3-4 weeks every year up there walking and climbing in my care free days.
