Post by Darrin » Tue Dec 06, 2022 10:09 pm

Was going to test pump today but minus 2 when I got in the van this morning and been working in empty house no heating so can't get ass away from radiator tonight hopefully will sort this weekend, seriously considering a fault reader hoping that may throw up some clues but thin I have pulled a wire loose from white roof module connections

'and' never comes after a comma in any circumstance.
Sorry old boy incorrect
On Monday we'll see the Eiffel Tower, and on Tuesday we'll visit the Louvre. Is correct usage.
Nope, you are incorrect.

You also created a new sentence unnecessarily;'Is correct usage.', when it should have in fact been tagged on to your preceding sentence, following a comma of course.

You neglected to take note of the following sentence of the screenshot you posted, from the link I posted:

'By the way, this punctuation rule only applies to lists of three or more items.'
I'm therefore assuming you are innumerate as well as illiterate, as as far as I can count there are only 2 items in the suggested sentence.
On Monday we'll see the Eiffel Tower (first), and on Tuesday we'll visit the Louvre (second).
Fail.

Chris,

Time for bed mate,

Read your post that I have quoted.. your words!

I’m not commenting on the other posts about France, I’m referring to your incorrect statement in isolation.

Do you wish to retract your incorrect statement and unprompted insults?
