Wheel Bolt - Black Coated

Post by Sigmaf » Mon Nov 28, 2022 11:25 pm

Evening All,

Does anybody have any links to where I can find some Black Wheel bolts?

Any locking nut potentially?

Ones on my car have been replaced with cheap Chromed which are now corroding nicely!

Thanks all!

Some black bolts are not that good on ebay. Pictures aren't what you get. I've sent a few back due to rust on them. However. The best I've found are the precision ones (see link).

These are with spacers, which I used also. Very happy with them too.

I just last week 'renovated' the wheel bolts on my BMW.

A bit of sandpaper and a can of satin black spray paint from Halfrauds did the trick. The socket didn't damage the finish either, which was good. Enough paint left in the can to re-do them about 5,000 times if needed too!
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.
