Is this Maldives blue ? It's a 2.2 and just bought it for the wheels, seats and headlights but it's far too good to break

Another Maldives owner - had this 2003 2.5 a couple of weeks, my first Zed, but weirdly now we have 5 BMWs in the house hold.
Not perfect, but runs good and makes me smile. (Also have a rippled drivers side front wing, but paint not cracked and not rusty, so will do until I can find another)

If you do break it, first dibs on the drivers front wing please! :)

It certainly is. And I agree, far too good to break! Welcome to the club.

OMG, the driver’s wing in Maldives is like unicorn poo. Dr Zed waited over a year for his. All three of mine have had “less than perfect” driver’s front wings, I think they had dents from the factory :o . Good luck, if I see a breaker I’ll post it here.

Lol - of course the easiest option would be to get another colour and re spray it, but as my purchase cost was low, it seems a bit extravagant :)

Thanks for posting the article - not seen that before.
Interesting that the price ranges don't appear to have really changed much since that article was published - they seem about the same as today's prices.
