Heater knobs
Does anyone know how to get hot air to come out of the footwell vents and the face vents at the same time. My wife is driving me nuts trying to set the control knob half way but but she can’t. It’s either face or feet and she’s not a happy bunny. Is there some trick to it that only long standing BMW drivers know about?

Set it to feet and ask her to put her head on your lap.
If she's driving you may have to steer.

Thank you all for your suggestions and advice, USEL, that would break the seatbelt law bigwin, tried but is then weak out of both. Patriot66, I will give that a go. Me, I prefer cold head warm feet but then who am I to choose.

Agree. Hot air blowing through a face vent is just wrong

I couldn't agree more.
Mrs Tidy used to prefer the car warmer than I wanted when driving - my 1 Series solved that with dual-zone climate. Never a problem with my Z4s as we had different addresses by the time I got my first.
Coupes because stunning!
