Hi all,

Latest issue with my 28i (9 years old).

Started up the car and electrics seemed off, made it 20 yards down the road and the car won’t rev past 1100. Eventually the whole thing shuts down.

AA jumped me and ran diagnostics. I got the below report.

What are you interpretations of this?

Roughly what costs (UK) would you expect I’ll be facing for this?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts and insight.

Looks like it could be a serious fault requiring a BMW specialist dealer…at the very least it needs sophisticated diagnostics to de-bug the issue…

Refers to possible cause..

If it’s a simple s/w fault which looks unlikely then it’s about £100 to troubleshoot..it looks like it could be a big ticket item to me.. :tumbleweed:
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is
