I have a UK car and the comfort access doesnt work on the passenger side.
Has a fault developed or has it never worked on the passenger side. Can someone tell me what theirs does?
I'm sure i've pressed it to lock on that side before.

I think Scubaregs is still right, go into your idrive and make sure its set up right.Menacing wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 7:36 pm Thank you![]()
It was more the ridged thing on top of the handle that doesnt work. I can't lock or unlock on the passenger side
You ok if I screenshot this Nanu, show it to my fiancée?
Feel free but save till it’s really needed
It's got the lines, they just don't work on passenger side.q96169we wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 10:52 am Easiest way to tell is to see whether passenger side door handle has touch sensitive locking zoon with those three or four lines, just as driver side handle.
If the handle is the same, then the car should have comfort access on both side. In this case, one thing you can try is to unlock and lock using driver side handle comfort access first. Then, try to use passenger side door handle comfort access and see whether it can then lock and unlock the car.
I do, i'll give it a go.ori wrote: Thu Nov 10, 2022 5:49 pm I had this on my previous e89 when it was just a few months old. It showed up as an error on Carly and requires a new door handle.
Do you have access to a code reader like Carly?
I tried the code reader and nothing like it came up.ori wrote: Thu Nov 10, 2022 5:49 pm I had this on my previous e89 when it was just a few months old. It showed up as an error on Carly and requires a new door handle.
