I have tried searching google, but havent been able to find anything on this… what do these letters mean on oil, and are they important?

They are oils that meet specific Volkswagen and Peugeot standards recently introduced….
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

Being Sytner, probably the cheapest variant. I thought "BMW recommends Castrol lubricants". :?
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

That's weird, as my N54 Alpina had the "BMW recommends Castrol" printed on the filler cap! :?

This changed a few years ago, I take it Shell gave them a better deal.

The Indy I was using at the time said he understood it was because Castrol wouldn't supply oil for dealers' parts departments in a container without the Castrol logo on them, but I've no idea if that was true or not!

On the Shell Helix Ultra container topic the reverse of the container should show it conforms to BMW spec - LL04 I think.
Coupes because stunning!
