fun little PPF demo at the workshop

Post by Beedub » Sun Nov 13, 2022 12:06 pm

As many will know i covered my z4m in Suntek high end REACTION film this year.... Not something id particularly want to do again but..... at least ive done one now! lol. Every inch of my car is covered with protection film and even the windscreen has a glass specific film on it, i absolutely love the piece of mind. i sadly scratched the bonnet on the z4m last week , i healed out the damage with warm water.... so satisfying. Heres a cheeky little YT SHORT i made demonstrating the self healing aspect.

Whats peoples thoughts on PPF, utter waste of money??? or worth its weight in gold!

That is impressive, most of the scratches and swirls that happen are of the depth you did with the brush.
I'm having the front half of my Z4 done with ppf next summer.

PPF is a must, I had done the NC500 few years back without PPF resulting in £9k worth of paint damage by the stones.

After the respray did the full PPF and not a stone chip since

totally agree guys, after now experiencing it at user level not installer level, every single car i own will be PPF covered. Sadly the price point utterly stinks . i had a rock bounce off the bonnet onto the windscreen last week on the motorway ( which is also covered in a specific screen protection film) not a single mark on car or glass. The gloss levels are also something to behold!
