It is in the classifieds, but probably not for long.

Something has caught my eye, but I wouldn’t buy it without selling this first (not in the current climate/market)

If the other car sells, I’ll be pressing on with strut brace, KW coilovers etc on this one and then it will definitely be a longer term commitment.

I’m going to get either the 325m’s (currently on the the car) or the 295’s refurbished this week regardless…. Need to decide which set, and whether to stick with sparkle silver or something different :)

I’m happy that the new paint has had sufficient time to ‘gas out’ properly so now it’s ceramic coating time, the package arrived earlier today :)

I’m going to give it a machine polish with a jeweling pad and finishing compound to refine any body shop buffer trails (very few in all honestly - but I want it perfect), then clean with IPA, before applying CQ.UK 3.0 and leaving to cure fully for a week.

I used this on my VO E89 and my Ford Racing Blue Audi TTS and the results were fantastic, so hoping for the same again with the DSB

Thanks Dave, can’t claim the credit for the ‘new’ paint though.

I have to admit to being envious of your hydro dipping skills

Spent quite a number of hours behind the FLEX today, very happy with the way the paint has refined down, lovely finish.

Too tired to finish today, will take stock and re-check work in the morning before IPA wipe down and on with the ceramic

I feel like I know the roof trusses in your garage better than I know my own, ML. :D

You really should change your username to 'Mr shiny'. The only person I know who could possibly polish a turd. :poke:
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!
